OpenAI releases ChatGPT API

The floodgates are now open…

Today, OpenAI has released an API for ChatGPT, its now world-renowned text-generation AI model.

This new development allows other companies to include the service into their own offerings.

The API costs $0.002 per 1,000 tokens. It was originally used to develop My AI, Snap’s subscription chatbot, the Q-Chat virtual teacher feature for Quizlet, a customized assistant for Shopify, and Ask Instacart, an AI system for the grocery delivery business.

The floodgates are now wide open… 💰
