Interesting read, I wrote an ebook on the matter a little while ago. It’s evident there is a lack of interest when it comes to sovereign / national cryptocurrencies from governments and sometimes potential consumers (e.g the proposed “e-Krona” in Sweden which was met with indifference based on a Tieto survey — this is quite compelling given that Sweden is often viewed as a digital payment innovator).
